  1. There's a Zadok transcription by Christopher Tambling in "Ten more pieces for Organ" form Kevin Mayhew (published 2008)
  2. This http://www.hetorgel.nl/eindex.html is the most complete calendar of organ concerts in Holland. However, when you need more information or suggestions for your visit to Holland, please let me know. Dick
  3. Nicolas Lebegue (1630-1702) - Les Cloches (from Troisieme Livre d'Orgue)

  7. Than I hope you're paid very, very well...
  8. Last year I was in Oxford on a Saturday in August. Many college chapels were closed for visitors, due to weddings. Keble at least had three that day.
  9. You can download Speedbit Download Accelerator (free) from http://www.videoaccelerator.com/ Dick
  10. Not Flentrop, it was Jürgen Ahrend.
  11. OK, Barcelona is lovely. I've been there last year. Pictures at http://travel.webshots.com/album/562607740NJNvOI You really must see the Sagrada Familia. The Cathedral and Santa Maria del Mar are also worth a visit, as is the Monasterio de Pedralbes. Non-organ spots: Parc Guell, Poble Espagnol, Boqueria, Mont Juic.... Well, have a look at the pictures and choose what you would like to visit. Enjoy your trip! Dick
  12. You should also try Content.. another dutch factory. Their organs are (in my taste) of better design, and of way superior sound quality. Just google Content Orgel or Content Organs and I'm sure you'll find something of use. The Johannus organs are a bit mellow in my taste, and generally do very bad in full organ.. Cheers,
  13. http://icking-music-archive.org/ http://www.free-sheetmusic.org/cms/?Instrumentale_muziek http://www.rowy.net/nlFullOrg.html Here's some organ music too!
  14. Let me tell you: most of my compositions are published by Klavarskribo, but always as the second publication. When the edition in the normal, usual notation has been published, it's some kind of a service to all Klavarskribo-players to allow Klavarskribo also to publish the music in their notation.
  15. When you like it, this might be an idea for the next purchase.
  16. In Holland? Not as far as I know. Here's a website devoted to British organs in Holland.
  17. In fact, it is the Gereformeerde Gemeente. It's a bit difficult to explain -like so many things in Holland- but it really makes a difference...
  18. Ohhh, tha'ts extremely expensive... I ordered this one: http://webshop.cantando.com/exo_showDetail...=1&id=C2141 Actually I only enjoyed one or two of these 19 pieces.
  19. Here it is! http://www.hertog.nl/TradePoint/Item_View?itemNo=MG013 Dick
  20. Actually I think this taste came from Italy to France! Opera was the musical language in 19th century Italy, even for the musica sacra. Incredible - but true...
  21. Well, have a look at the organ works of Padre Davide da Bergamo, Vincenzo Petrali and Antonio Diana, for instance.
  22. Good to know. I'll be in Bristol this week. So: no H&H in SMR... Dick
  23. The late Klaas Jan was an uncle of Jan. Cheers, Dick
  24. Why not simply ask Jan himself at info@janmulder.us ? Cheers, Dick
