  1. St Edmund's Church, Southwold The annual Summer Series of organ recitals, taking place on Wednesdays at 1:10, starts this year on July 20th with a recital by Roger Carter. Please see the photo below for full details of organ recitals and also the 'Summer Sounds' concerts on Mondays throughout August, also starting at 1:10. The first is on Monday 1st August with a concert by The Sole Bay Singers. Free admission with a retiring collection. Donations much appreciated to ensure that these non-profit recitals can continue to go ahead in the future.
  2. Sunday 5th June 6PM St Mary's Church, Redenhall, Norfolk (on Suffolk border). Recital by David Price - ABRSM Examiner in Thailand. Ex Master of the Music at Norwich RC Cathedral and Director of Music at Taverham Hall School. Redenhall has a very fine (II/P 24) 1843 G.M. Holdich organ, all unaltered, making it the largest unaltered Holdich remaining. The organ is very firmly in the transition between the Georgian/Victorian period, retaining its fine array of Reeds and upperwork.
