Peter Clark Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 I read somewhere of a recitalist who would end a recital with Martin's Evensong rather than something somewhat more upbeat. Can anyone recall who he/she might have been? Is this a recommended ploy, I wonder? Peter

However, I have heard the present Dean of Hereford Cathedral (The Very Revd.Michael Tavinor) play this in a public organ recital! At the time he was vicar of Tewkesbury.
