Guest Barry Williams
as it is avalible online, would it be illegal for me to post an MP3 of the briggs? Why not ask Mr Briggs' permission, so that here can be no doubt? Barry Williams

Guest Barry Williams
Are there not also matters of permission of the performer and of the persons who recorded it?... Indeed. I had assumed that the player was the composer - I could not download the audio file. Some care has to be taken. I gather that Youtube regularly gets asked to remove infringing perforamnces of all kinds of things. But it ought not to be insurmountable. Davidb
Ok it seems that it is more trouble than its worth to put a copy of the Sortie on In Dulci Jubilo on here, so i think it is best that i take back the offer. However if anyone wants to PM me..
AJJ
I played the piece to my wife and her immediate reaction was that it was based on the theme music to The Flintstones! AJJ
