Pierre Lauwers Posted February 25, 2008 Share Posted February 25, 2008 Besides the "goldene" color, the more different harmonics you have in a Mixture, the more you convey the impression of a bigger instrument. This example is voiced to be "yellow" most of the time, and when you play big chords it becomes "reedy", giving a fair Tutti despite there being no reeds.
