Guest Barry Williams
Many years ago I nearly laughed out loud during a sermon whilst playing at Lewin Road Baptist Church. Someone, (I think it was the then organist, Rodney Williams - no relation,) had pinned up the Ten Commandments for Organists. I remember these: Thou shalt not unwrap thy caramels noisily during the prayers Thou shalt not neglect the organ works of J S Bach as some ministers neglect the hymns of Charles Wesley Thou shalt not play overlong voluntaries during the offertory, for the minister holds him not guiltless who keeps him waiting with a heavy plate in his hands Can anyone remember the rest please?
