The topic title more-or-less says it all. 2008 is the centenary of Gordon Phillips' birth and a number of players (mostly members of the Gordon Phillips Society) are trying to include his works in their recital programmes as a result.

I am currently learning the above work, which was published in 1937 by OUP and went out of print more-or-less immediately. It consists of three movements: Pontifical March, Minuet and Toccata - all of them strong and unusual. The whole work was dedicated to George Thalben-Ball. The only entry on the internet refers to a 1937 review which rather condemned it. Bearing in mind the number of members we have and the ground we cover between us, surely someone here has either performed it themselves or heard it played(?) Did anyone attend the All Hallows by the Tower recital series and hear it there?

I ask because it would be nice to know (to be honest) if anyone but the composer ever did play it!
