mrbouffant
At the end of JKR's episode, she was standing in a nice church in Brumath in Alsace-Lorraine which seemed to boast a very pretty organ with a Ruckpositiv. I wondered if anyone could shed some light on the builder and specification?

I wondered if anyone could shed some light on the builder and specification? This possibly?.....although the Kern website says it was a restoration. The case in the film looked newer and more Germanic whereas the spec. suggests a more French type instrument - there are people on here who will know better though. Wiki. says there is a Protestant and Catholic church in the town - I suspect that this is the organ in the Catholic church whereas JKR was at the Protestant I think. Isn't this decidedly geeky!!!! tiratutti
Hello, I couldn't resist the temptation to rewind the tape tonight, and the organ is clearly the one in the Protestant church. more information about the organ built by Stiehr. The history is typical: Stiehr > Mockers > Roethinger > Schwenkedel > Haerpfer Cheers tiratutti

innate
But which edition is it? It's urtext, but not the NBA. I wouldn't think much of an edition of O Mensch bewein’ that needs a pageturner.
