Guest yfd
Date: Mon, 23 Jan 2006 20:10:08 -0500 From: "Mike Gettelman" <mike3247@earthlink.net> Subject: Cleveland Public Hall Skinner Picture Tour To: PIPORG-L@listserv.albany.edu Greetings, For those who may be interested, I have posted an album of pictures that takes you on a virtual tour through Skinner Opus 328 and Cleveland Public Auditorium. As I mentioned in a previous post, a group of OHS representatives spent a day on Jan. 11th evaluating and surveying this historic old organ. Now you can see what we saw and get an idea of what it's going to take to return this instrument to regular use. Things are not as bad as we initially feared and we have every reason to be optimistic about its future at this point. So, log on to: http://gallery.pipechat.org/gallery/albums.php when you have time and enjoy the 44 picture slide show that documents this fine old organ from top to bottom. Cheers Mike Gettelman
Vox Humana
Wow, Steve. Five manuals, 168 stops and they couldn't afford an adjustable bench? Nice pics though.
