DaveHarries 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2014 Hi all, I count shortwave and foreign band radio among my areas of interest and often tune around when working late as I drive vehicles for a living. On 21st October 2013 I managed, using the audio record tool on my digital camera, to record two music clips from a Dutch station. The first is what I presume is a Dutch rendition of "Great is thy Faithfulness" with a nice instrumental improvisation. I have no idea who wrote the improvisation: does anyone? http://https://soundcloud.com/dave-harries/cimg1842-wav The second piece is one I know neither the title nor author of. Again, any information appreciated: I am asking this one here as there is some organ in this clip so I hope someone will know the author and title: Thanks for any info. Colin Pykett 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2014 Dave, having had a quick listen to your clips I'm not much the wiser regarding your questions. However I suffer from the disease which makes me want to know the answer as well when a query arises. So if I get anywhere I'll let you know! CEP
revdnsm 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2014 A starting point may be a search under Nederland Zingt. Many hymns can be found on You Tube as sung on this programme in the Netherlands. The style sounds right. Best wishes David
revdnsm 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2014 Got a slight lead... this gives the Dutch for 'Great is thy faithfulness' and and lead into Nederland Zingt. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHuI16x2Wx4&sns=em Best wishes David
