Damian Beasley-Suffolk
I doubt whether this makes a noise, or was intended to, I've been here a couple of times and there was no wind. When I read "more than 600 hollow steel pipes welded together", I thought it inconceivable that noises would not be created, given the right circumstances - i.e. wind. Lo and behold: Sibelius Monument singing in the wind - YouTube Probably best not to perform this as a voluntary !

SomeChap
I'd missed these posts somehow @Choir Man - they're excellent thank you! I'd completely forgotten I'd played once at Doesburg a long time ago. You can also see the little Flentrop up in the choir, which is also an excellent organ of its time. The last judgement behind the organ at St-Maximin is just sensational!
SomeChap
Quite by chance I've just stumbled into the organ loft at Brussels Cathedral on google street view. Thought it might be of interest here - looks like the ruckpositive is just a sham facade?

The actual positive is below the organist, I think. There’s quite a lot of information and drawings here: https://www.grenzing.com/cathedrale-de-bruxelles-bruselas/
