Important to note, however:

“They [the Archbishops] also invited clergy to maintain the ancient pattern of daily prayer and, where possible, the eucharist”

(With encouragement to “livestream” where feasible.)

Fortunately my church building, which normally is unlocked in daylight hours, will remain open for private prayer (and organ practice). The rector will be livestreaming morning & evening prayer (said of course) from his study as there is no wifi or strong mobile signal in the church. All choir and other group activities have been suspended until Easter.

The Roman Catholic Church in the UK has also suspended public worship as from Friday of this week. The church in France, last week did the same.

It is now announced that weddings may have only the number of people legally required. A priest, the happy(ish) couple and two witnesses.

Is this RC or CoE? The latest I have for the Catholic Church is this, of 18 March.
