MusingMuso
AN ODE TO EURO ORGAN-BUILDING We have a little problem with an organ that is minimal, a new one is not possible, for then we would be criminal. If pipes are lead, they now see red, the consequences horrible, The Brussels greens and DTI, becoming quite impossible. I’m very well acquainted, too, with matters of environment, I understand protecting, both the consequent and subsequent, With metallurgic theorem, the oldest lead with tin is fused, Re-cycling very carefully, so that not an ounce is loosed. re-cycling very carefully, the oldest lead with tin is fused, re-cycling very carefully, the oldest lead with tin is fused,re-cycling very carefully, the oldest lead is then re-used. He is the very model of a modern day ecologist, Delighting both the lobbies of the zoo and bio-oligists, He’s worked with kings of England, and can quote the Flight historical, From Dallam through to Ken Tickell, in order categorical. He’s very well acquainted, too, with matters logarithmical, He understands his Mixtures, both the two rank and quadratical, Without pipe-scaling theorems used, the spotted-metal which is fused, Becomes a plumber’s nightmare, and the sound beomes confused. Becomes a plumber’s nightmare, and the sound becomes confused Becomes a plumber’s nightmare, and the sound becomes confused Becomes a plumber’s nightmare, and the sound beomes confused He’s very good at making pipes, which voiced, then sound miraculous, The names of which are often seen as something quite ridiculous, In short, he is protectionist, an artist and traditionalist, He is the very model of a modern day ecologist In short, he is protectionist, an artist and traditionalist, He is the very model of a modern day ecologist He’s very good at integrating pipes from many origins, And has a name for those that tend to speak in strange paroxysms, In short, he is protectionist, an artist and traditionalist, He is the very model of a modern day ecologist In short, he is protectionist, an artist and traditionalist, He is the very model of a modern day ecologist He knows the mythic history too, of King’s and Arthur Harrison, He understands acoustics well, and sounds which seem to carry on, He knows the life of Henry first, Cavaille-Coll and Silbermann, With sonics he can flood the church and overwhelm the carillon. He can tell authentic Schnitger from the copies that are made of him, The croaking frogs of Cliquot and the thunder Aristidean, Can hum a fugue and tune a reed, like those that went in front of him, Werkmeister one, or maybe two, and every other paradigm. Werkmeister one, or maybe two, and every other paradigm Werkmeister one, or maybe two, and every other paradigm Werkmeister one, or maybe two, and every other paradigm He knows his Great from Hauptwerk, and his Recite from accordian, His bellows from his Schwimmers, and his regal from harmonium, In short, he is protectionist, an artist and traditionalist, He is the very model of a modern day ecologist In short, he is protectionist, an artist and traditionalist, He is the very model of a modern day ecologist In fact when he knows what is meant by diaphones and telephones, When he can tell at sight his Hope-Jones’s Tibias from his Melotones, When such affair as Sorties and Intradas he’s aware of, And when he knows precisely what is meant by Laukhoff When he has learned what progress has been made in modern digitals, And he knows more of tactics than the doctors in the hospitals, In short, when he’s a smattering of elemental strategy, You’ll say a better organ-builder has n’er ecompassed G You’ll say a better organ-builder has n’er ecompassed G You’ll say a better organ-builder has n’er ecompassed G You’ll say a better organ-builder has n’er ecompassed G For his musical knowledge; for his art and his longevity, He is brought down at the start of this new century But still, he is protectionist, an artist and traditionalist, He is the very model of a modern day ecologist But still, he is protectionist, an artist and traditionalist, He is the very model of a modern day ecologist MM

Brian Childs
Congratulations MM. FF <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh the benefits of a musical education !!! Do you intend to record it yourself ; if not do you know Tom (aka Sir Thomas) Allen who certainly has the voice and I suspect the sense of humour to do it justice. You might just have produced the cross-over hit of 2006!!! This deserves, and needs, a much wider audience than will see it here for though the quality is very high the quantity will not cause the fear and trembling in the corridors of power that is needed to overcome the inertia of a body at rest. Go for it.
