Pierre Lauwers
As I said the Tubas are outnumered by far by the chamades, but this on a worldwide basis. They may be compared wxith the fate of the Dodo Species. The Dodos, non-flying birds, were quite numerous, but they existed only on one island (Mauritius). As they were easy to catch, the cats and the dogs, introduced by the Dutch, made somptuous meals with them. From time to time humans ate some as well. Why care for so common an animal? But sooner than expected it was too late. Pierre

Pierre Lauwers
It was a damned ugly bird though. The Tuba of the avian world? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The organ flu? But now what means "ugly"? Aren't we all ugly somewhere? Weren't all styles so qualified after their heyday? If we think Dodos were ugly, does it justify their vanishing?
