21st-century Bach - Worth Another Look?

Recommended Posts

Really, Paul? I expect I'm being uncommonly thick, but there are several pieces I am quite unable to find in the programme index on the DVDs:

Sonata VI

"Lüneburg" P&F in C major, BWV 531

P&F in G major, BWV 541

Prelude in A minor, BWV 569

"Little" Fugue in G minor BWV 578

Orgelbüchlein chorales:

      Puer natus

      Vom Himmel hich

      Das alte Jahr

      In dir ist Freude

Liebster Jesu BWV 730

Liebster Jesu BWV 731

There's enough for a whole DVD here.

I note that above pieces include all the Arnstadt performances.

Just so. That's the contents of Volume 2 Disk 1.

Volume One has one disk of music and one of features, Volume Two has two disks of music. You do have all the disks?

Paul

Right. It is now confirmed. I am officially stupid.

Thanks for your help with that, Paul. I see what the problem was now. I had completely missed the "next" button on the first page of the menu. All the pieces above are on page two!

I shall now crawl under a log and hide.
