Still here - and hoping ! (Warrington Cavaille-Coll Organ)

After almost two years since the Cavaille-Coll Bi-Centenary Recital in the Parr Hall Warrington, we are still awaiting the next recital on this organ.

I can assure you, it is NOT for the want of trying !!!

I will continue my endeavors to persuade the Warrington Borough Council Executive to give consideration to the appointment of a Borough Organist.

As long ago as 1978, after his recital was broadcast on BBC Radio Merseyside, they allowed the offer from a distinguished organist for this position to slip through their fingers when they chose to overlook his letter.

SHAME ON THEM !!!
