Is the route by which the former St John's organ will end up in Kennington to remain a mystery then?

Hello Rowland, I was indeed referring to the former St John's organ heading to Kennington. Does anyone know?

Which builder will be responsible for this? I am curious to know how it would be rebuilt, as the design of the organ at St John's was shaped to a great extent by the existing casework built between two arches.

The instrument formerly at Tabernacl, Colwyn Bay is of a similar vintage to some of the instruments mentioned above, and also apparently designed by Alfred Hollins when originally built as a residence organ. I believe that it was taken into storage when the chapel closed. Forth Pipe Organs was advertising it for a time on their website. I wonder what has happened to it.

I remember the saxophonist Gerald McChrystal expressing his worry to me a few years ago that musicians do not take the risks of hearing loss from loud environments seriously enough. There are now different earplugs that are supposed to attenuate loud noises without blocking out detail that a musician would need to hear in performance. Can anyone vouch for them?

Whilst browsing on IMSLP, I found an organ sonata by Ludwig Thuille, a pupil of Rheinberger. He is probably best known for his Sextet for Piano and Winds. He clearly had a natural facility for writing appealing melodies. Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of an organ arrangement of the Saint-Saëns Requiem please? The piano reduction is adequate, but it would be handy to have a reduction that was friendlier for the organ.
