Colin Harvey
Could anyone tell me what is the musical-point in exact organ-restoration, or is it just an antiquarian indulgence? MM <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I just can't understand it at all. Why would anyone want to live in a Georgian house when they could have a Barratt home? Why would anyone want to live in a Georgian house when they could have a Barratt home? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ===================== Absolutely! All those draughts and creaking oak floorboards.....terrible! My apologies in a previous post, for inventing a new organ-builder Rieger-Klotz......I think I must have eaten something strange. Rieger-Kloss it should have been, of course, but I guess I was mixing up Glatter Glotz and Rieger, which is sort of excusable I suppose. Colin Harvey
Not to mention those dreadful sash windows and the strictures those historical conservationists now have on planning permission. Why do they bother?
