The Dean of Westminster had a huge role in the organisation of the events in the Abbey. I remember David Hoyle from his time as Dean of Bristol and always reckoned that he would make a good job of handling the coronation. However I agree that some awards should have been dished out to those who composed, and were in charge of, the music for the service and its direction.
