MAB
Quick query. I have just been booked to play a concert of Christmas pieces in December on a small classical organ. It would be lovely if it had a Cymbelstern, but it doesn't. Can anyone point me towards a downloadable MP3 for a Cymbelstern that might be pressed into service, or even one of those tinkly ones Carlo Curley used to have on his console. I appreciate this is utterly naff, but, hey, its (nearly) Christmas. Many thanks M

Additionally, why not a string and pulley arrangement, so that you can wear cymbals, a bass drum and a harmonica on a stick? There are precedents http://www.nme.com/nme-video/youtube/id/4ecIgyrQ-58 MM

MusingMuso
But surely, the organ is already a one-man-band... ============================ Well yes, but you need bells at Christmas. I've had a further thought......go to the poundshops! A selection of cat-collars would probably do the trick, and even kill any fleas you may have picked up from the congregation. davidh
If you are happy with soundfonts and Jeux, there is a Zimbelstern there which starts, runs and, when turned off, slows down and stops in a convincing way.
