Choir Man Posted September 7, 2018 Posted September 7, 2018 The IAO are also listing James Lancelot as the interim DOM at Worcester on their publicity for the Midlands Organ Day: http://iao.org.uk/mod/ . This looks likely to be a fantastic day and well worth the journey to Worcester.
Peter Allison Posted September 7, 2018 Posted September 7, 2018 James DID move down to Tewkesbury, and its my own personal opinion, that he is one of the top organist/ choir trainers in the UK. Am a tad biased, as have known him and his wife, Sylvia for many years, since he first came to Durham :-)

Rowland Wateridge Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 I have heard today that pcnd5584 is playing at St Stephen’s Bournemouth, but was not told in what capacity. My informant said he is very happy there.

He does appear to be very content.
David Drinkell Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 My wife sees pcnd's posts on Facebook and he does indeed seem to be very content. I believe that he was organist at Wimborne, but not choirmaster, although I stand to be corrected on that point.

DHM Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Is SC taking a sabbatical to prepare for his retirement?
John Furse Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 That is what I, too, have been informed. Subsequent to his accident and other serious health issues last year, these are things which cannot be taken lightly. Despite all this, and once out of intensive care and back at the helm, I was told he did not miss a single practice with the boys. Commitment and dedication, indeed. He will need to pace himself, so that he returns fit to take up the reigns as he draws towards the end of his distinguished tenure.
